Reflection On Life

What is it we crave from a life we hold dear?

The loss of our loved ones or our own passing we fear,

The older we get, where our life flashes by, when we get to a point and ask ourselves why?
Have we made the most of our time that we’ve shared, have we given the time to the people we’ve cared.

Why do we look back and worry what’s gone before and past’d, leaving behind a memory we’ve cast.  It cannot be changed but future actions be altering with the knowledge we’ve gained we can prevent it from faltering.

Life’s all about getting the balance right, to level ourselves out knowing wrongs from our rights,

As long as we learn from the lessons we’ve gained, try not to burden yourself with most of the blame.

Life for sure has beginning and end, it’s the bit in the middle we struggle with most, our journey, our path, our spiritual ghost.

So begin every day, as if it was your last so much to complete the day seems so vast.

So tomorrow please follow my word, the ones today, the ones you just heard.

Like a beautiful flower open up in the morning,

Stretch out your leaves and hold back the yawning, open your eyes and let in the light, don’t be afraid

I know there be tight.

The air will be fresh, the sky oh so blue, let out your colour the day waits for you.

Up root your stems from their covered soil, open unwind, begin to uncoil.

The morning has broken the birds no longer asleep.

Make the most of the day as it begins to creep in.  Live in the moment, cause that’s really what counts, try to look to the past, to give you that bounce.

Become the reflection, when you look into the pond, when you look away your face will be gone.

Make the most of your time have little regret, look to your strengths and embrace whom we’ve met.

One day your journey will come to an end.

Then we will journey in Spirit all over again.
