Look into Nature

We are often told or directed to look into nature when we are lost or searching for meaning or true inspiration.

How do we look to nature? Do we go for a walk? Do we need to feel alone to have the elements of our senses at their peak to allow the true aspects of ourselves to come through?

Apart from the air around us and the temperature at which it holds what can we truly feel?  What is it about nature that touches our heart and soul? Maybe that in some way mother nature is untouched at its base line and undisturbed, survival being its only inhibition, not to be in competition with its fellows but to reap what it has been given.

Maybe there are lessons we can take from these observations?

When a spider weaves its mesh of industrial strength lines to make its base, it will initially find stable structure, strong pillars in which to support its labyrinth of magic.

The web is a complex pattern, but simple in its design and shape. Maybe we need to choose more carefully before we decide to drop anchor? Who we attach ourselves to? If we have the amenities we require? The friends we require to support? True friends, strong pillars, foundations that do not do the things for us, but show us the ways that we may complete them and better ourselves.

Maybe we can look at the complexity and hard work of the monotonous building of a birds nest? stick by stick, interweaving the branches with no more than a simple tool than its beak, building a firm base and gradually building over a period of time, a beginning in which to create new life.

We seem to forget that life takes time to take shape?

It takes time to achieve great things with persistence and hard work, we take for granted the tools we have been gifted with, we have begun to turn into a human race that wants everything now with little effort or work, only not to appreciate the end result as it is presented.   No challenges or hardships and only having short term value.

We can also look to the seasons.  Every season having a balance with each other, a great need to fulfil a prophecy of the season before, so it may flourish preparing its theatrical stage for the forth coming period, allowing its natural beauty to be displayed in one form or another to be created and enhanced through time.  So we now find ourselves absorbed in the moment, taking in all aspects of our environment, grounding, to found comfort and inner peace.   To allow our questions of mindfulness to be answered! The Sounds of our surroundings, that takes us away to a different world from our day to day roles in society and family responsibilities.  The sun’s light and radiant heat allows us to once again feel regenerated and whole again.

We can now open our eyes and thank mother earth for the tranquillity and beauty that she holds pure for us to enjoy and find sanctuary.

We come to this blissful place as it is free and wild, to remind us of whom we truly are!  We are back to the source.  This is nature, nature at its finest hour.
